Why We Were Created
Our History
I’m Dr. Domonique Rice, a Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor (IMFT-S), AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and a nationally recognized mental health leader with more than 20 years of experience serving children, families, and clinicians across clinical, correctional, and public health systems.
I created TheraPay Now because I’ve lived every frustration today’s therapists face: client mismatch, scheduling gaps, tech that doesn’t talk to each other, administrative overload, and tools built by engineers, not clinicians.
I’ve supervised hundreds of therapists, designed statewide mental health programs, helped shape national behavioral health policy, and led multimillion-dollar system transformation initiatives. I know the challenges from every angle, clinical, systemic, financial, and I knew we needed better.
